Proposal A for 99 Speedmart

            This is a high-end proposal where the convenient store basically operates based on vending machines. Customers will see many vending machines once they entered the convenient store. All vending machines are categorized based on:

1. Dairy Products
2. Drinks
3. Alcohol
4. Snacks
5. Sauces
6. Canned & Packed Foods
7. Rice & Instant Noodles 
8. Frozen Foods
9. Household Products
10. Personal Care

• Video above simply shows how the convenient store looks like when vending machines are placed around the store
• Display screen on the vending machines will present name of the product, price, expiry dates and important nutrition details
• Customers may make payment through the vending machines either by cash, Touch n Go card  or credit card

Advantages

• Less manpower needed in store- manpower needed only for restock the machines and a 'frontliner' to assist customers at the information counter
• Prevent shoplifting

Disadvantages

• Malfunction of machines need to be repaired as soon as possible
• Vending machines wont be able to operate when electricity is out- store management need to have 'back-up' generator

Proposal B for 99 Speedmart

The second concept store, the bowling alley concept. There is 2 ways of customer can purchase; online purchase or walk-in store purchase.

• Display monitor on the counter will display data such as product, price, expiry date, and important nutrition details

The Concept

1. Online Order

• Payment rules: Visa / MasterCard, and Touch n Go for only walk-in
• A secure PIN code or Barcode will given for ordered item or payment made
• Ready to collect except  frozen food.
• 2 mode: Pay Online or Pay at Counter

     2.  Walk-In Store

• Customer select product at the counter via Screen Monitor
• Payment rules: Visa / MasterCard, Touch n Go, or Cash
•  Wait for about 1-5 minute for collection

Walk-In      →      Select and Order      →     Payment      →     Collect

Advantages:

• Fast, convenience, and safe payment
• Safe time 
• Prevent shoplifting 

Disadvantages:

• Required man power at warehouse to prepare customer's order
• Walk-in customer may took time to select product at the counter
